This workshop lets you discover simply and effectively the emotivo-rational approach, in relation with management, that was developed by Eugene Houde for the last 30 years. Eugene Houde based his approach on Albert Ellis, an American psychologist and Peter Drucker, the father of modern management. 275$ +txs (including coffee-breaks, learning material and lunch)

Objective: choose emotions and be effective

Too often, we refrain ourselves from acting, or our actions are inappropriate and do not contribute to the achievement of our objectives. At the source of these dynamics, we find our emotions, which are responsible for 80 % of our effectiveness.

This workshop lets you discover simply and effectively the emotivo-rational approach,  in relation with management, that was developed by Eugene Houde for the last 30 years. Eugene Houde based his approach on Albert Ellis, an American psychologist, and Peter Drucker, the father of modern management.

You will be surprised by the simplicity and the effectiveness of this approach. Explained simply, by visual aids combined with practical exercises, you will be able to identify the emotions that are good for you, the ones that are useful, and the ones that are harmful. Finally, you will learn how to identify the emotions that inhibit your actions and regain full control over yourself in order to take the appropriate actions that will lead you to achieve your goals.

This workshop is aimed at managers, employees, self-employed workers, executive staff.

At the end of this workshop, you will be able:

  • To better understand where your emotions come from;
  • To develop an understanding of mutual respect and to positively influence your interpersonal relationships.
  • To identify your needs-requirements and their consequences;
  • To identify and work on the four major harmful negative emotions;
  • To use techniques to identify and eliminate the four major harmful negative emotions and take action

Training procedure:

  • The duration is from 8h30 to 16h30, if the training is held in our conference room located at 10 Montée Robert à St-Basile-le-Grand.
  • If the training is organized in your workspace, the time slot will be whatever suits you best.

Note: We have not formed complete groups yet. We aim for groups ranging from 12 to 16 people. Consequently, the inscriptions we receive will be placed on a waiting list until a group is formed.
